Thanks for reading David! It’s been awhile since I wrote this, but I’ve since starting reading the work of Nassim Taleb. I’ve come to recognize that this explosive growth was a “Black Swan.” High-impact, and very hard to predict. In my experience these Black Swans come from dissecting a method from first principles and re-building it. Hopefully I’ll have more thoughts on it soon.
